Installing your
Wallpaper Mural Gidon's Designs Wallpaper Murals are printed on high quality paper and are installed just like you would do with normal wallpaper. Depending on the size of your Wallpaper Mural we can print a design or image as one large piece or in panels which will then determine on how many you require. There is no great loss if you have not had much experience in putting up wallpaper, the guidelines below should help you. A. You’re Wall – ensure that your wall is clean and as flat as it can be, with no paper or paint that may be hanging off. If you find your wall is dry give it a coat of paste before installing your Wallpaper Mural or Print. B. The Size of Your Wall - because every wall is different there is no set size, measure your wall to the size you would like your Wallpaper Mural to be at, ensuring you add extra length and height for trimming. C. The Layout for your Wallpaper Mural – take each panel and lay them next to one another in order so you can see which panel goes where. |

D. Using Wallpaper Paste or Spray Fix – Wallpaper paste is cheap to buy so make sure you have enough, mix your paste to a thick consistency. With Spray Fix it should have instructions on how to apply. E. Applying each Wallpaper Panel – when applying the paste to the back of the panel ensure that you “do not soak the panel with paste or fold it”. Working from the top of the wall, apply the wallpaper with a decorators hanging brush or damp sponge or cloth. Make sure you look out for any bubbles as you are applying the wallpaper, if so gently smoothen out the paper to the edges, any small bubbles should disappear when the paper is dry. F. Trimming Your Wallpaper Mural – where your paper overlaps to the ceiling or edge of the wall, if you fold and make a crease where you need to cut, using scissors or very carefully with a craft knife. G. Finishing the installation of your wallpaper mural – using a damp cloth or sponge wipe off any excess paste, ensuring you do not rub too hard as it could damage the paper.
